North Valley Public Health, based in Warren, reported Friday that two Marshall County residents account for the latest COVID-19 related deaths in the county. The individuals were in their 70s and 80s.
Their deaths bring the total to three in Marshall County. In September, North Valley reported that a Marshall County resident in their 50s was the first COVID-19 related death in the county.
Marshall County continues to see a large amount of community spread. As of Friday afternoon, the county had nine new cases and 55 active cases. Three individuals were hospitalized at that time.
Since the pandemic began, Marshall County has had 233 cases of COVID-19 and seven total hospitalizations.
