The Thief River Falls City Council will reopen City Hall to the public Monday, Jan. 11. The council voted to reopen the building at its meeting Tuesday, Jan. 5. However, the reopening was contingent on whether Gov. Tim Walz dialed back restrictions on restaurants and bars.

City Hall has been periodically closed to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest closure had been in effect since mid-November. However, all services remained open, and the public was able to obtain appointments if needed.
