ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR WATER TREATMENT CHEMICALS
FOR THE WATER SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT
CITY OF THIEF RIVER FALLS, MINNESOTA
The City Council for the City of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, shall receive sealed bids for water treatment chemicals. Bids will be received by the City of Thief River Falls, at the City Administrator Office, 405 East Third Street, P.O. Box 528, Thief River Falls, MN 56701 until 2:00 PM, December 4, 2025 at which time all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Specifications co,vering the materials to be furnished are on file at the office of the Superintendent of Water Systems, 305 Pennington Avenue South, P.O. Box 528, Thief River Falls, Minnesota 56701, (218-681-3809) and may be obtained from that office upon request.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond acceptable to the City of Thief River Falls in an amount equal to at least five (5) percent of the total amount of the bid, payable without condition to the City of Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
In case the successful bidder fails to enter into and complete a contract as required by law, within the specified numqer of days after the award of the contract, such check or bond will be forfeited to the City of Thief River Falls as liquidated damages.
The City Council of the City of Thief River Falls, Minnesota reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of forty-five ( 45) calendar days after the date of opening the bids and may reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities, and to award the contract as it deems to be for the best interest of the City of Thief River Falls.
