Red Lake River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan Draft Amendment
NOTICE is hereby given that the Red Lake River One Watershed One Plan (1W1P) Policy Committee, on behalf of the Pennington County and Pennington Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), Red Lake County and Red Lake County SWCD, Polk County and West Polk SWCD, East Polk SWCD, and Red Lake Watershed District (RLWD) will hold a Public Hearing on the draft Plan Amendment to the Red Lake River Comprehensive Watershed Management Plan. The hearing will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. at the Red Lake Watershed District Office, 1000 Pennington Avenue South, Thief River Falls, MN.
A copy of the Plan Amendment can be found on the Pennington SWCD website:
https://www.penningtonswcd.org/. Written copies of the plan amendment can be seen at the Red Lake Watershed District or Pennington SWCD offices.
The purpose of this hearing is to present the comments received during the 60-day comment period. All persons are invited to attend the hearing and submit comments, written or verbal, that will become part of the official public hearing record. These comments will be considered when making final revisions to amended Plan.
