Kick’n Up Kountry organizers have announced that this year’s event has been cancelled and rescheduled for June 16-19, 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press release, organizers said, “It is with much regret, but we realize people have to make or change plans, so that is why we have come to this conclusion now and are hopeful everyone will be understanding in these uncertain times. Your 2020/2021 replacement tickets and camping tickets will be sent to you.”

The same artists have agreed to perform at Kick’n Up Kountry next year. The lineup will be Dwight Yoakam, Chase Rice, Matt Stell, BlackHawk, the Johnny Holm Band, Hairball, Ron Keel Band, Rage N Country, Whiskey Johnson, Kissing Company, Empty Cooler Band, Dan Holt, Kenny Christie, a Dolly Parton Look a like Contest, and Sean Wallin with a tribute to Elvis. The schedule will also include the baja races and the Adventure World train tours hosted by train engineer Glen Brazier. It will be Kick’n Up Kountry’s 18th year and the 10th anniversary at Wagon Wheel Ridge in Karlstad. Organizers noted that by combining the 2020/2021, it will be Kick’n Up Kountry’s biggest and best year ever.
