\"   Oklee – Ragna Gunderson, 85, died on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls.
  Funeral services were held on Monday, March 26, at Oak Park Lutheran Church, in rural Oklee, with Rev. Joseph Abrahamson officiating. Casket bearers included Tim Gagner, Dave Berry, Corey Wilde, Mark Berry, Nikki Aaker, Eric Wilde, Dan Gagner, Ryan Wilde, Steph Koralewski and Casey Jo Wilde. Honorary casket bearers included all of Ragna’s Family and Friends. Interment was held at Clearwater Cemetery in rural Oklee.
         Ragna Hofstad was born on July 7, 1921 in Equality  Township, the daughter of Rolf and Anne (Nygaard) Hofstad. She was raised in Equality Township, and attended rural school, graduating from Oklee  High School in 1941.
     Ragna was united in marriage to Torkel Gunderson on October 10, 1942 at Clearwater Lutheran  Church. The couple farmed in Equality Township on the Gunderson Family Farm, where they lived and raised their family. Ragna worked as a home health aid for Inter County Nursing Service for 20 years. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Hospice and at the Oklee Senior Site for many years. Torkel died in March  1994 and Ragna moved into Oklee, in September of 1997, where she has since resided.
     She was a Farmers Union Junior Reserve Leader for many years and was honored as Red Lake County Senior Citizen. Ragna loved quilting, embroidering and making afghans. She made date filled cookies for special occasions and enjoyed writing and communicating with family, she was also a director of the Setesdals Laget. Ragna was very active in the Clearwater Lutheran Church until its closing, when she became a member of Oak Park  Lutheran Church.
     Ragna is survived by three daughters: Arlene Berry of East Grand Forks, Dianne (Clarence) Gagner of Brooks and Sheryl (Arlan Fore) Wilde of Oklee; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Emma Sheffield of Fremont, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Torkel; her parents; brothers, Paul Hofstad, Grunde Hofstad, Iven Hofstad, Martin Hofstad, Adolph Hofstad and Grundy Hofstad; sisters, Myrtle Hofstad and Anne Ruffalo; and sons-in-law, Robert Berry and Dennis Wilde.
