The Board of Education for School District 564, Thief River Falls, plans to meet at noon on Thursday, May 26, to meet an individual who has been recommended to serve as interim superintendent.

School District 564 paused their search for a superintendent last week after interviewing three candidates. The District received only four applications for the job.

School Board Chairperson Ryan Walseth said the individual had been recommended by the Minnesota School Board Association, which has been assisting the District in its search for a superintendent.

The agenda for the meeting on Thursday includes an interview of the candidate, discussing information from the interview, and scheduling the next steps.
