Victoria Wishard Myers, 49

    Crookston – Victoria Wishard Myers, 49, died on Friday, November 16, 2007 at her home in Crookston.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on  Wednesday, November 21,  at the Lund Lutheran Church in Gully, with Rev. Mike Sletto officiating.      Casket bearers include Jamie “Dudley” Wishard, Jerimiah “Buster” Wishard, Joe Caswell, George Chalmers, Bruce Oehlke and Paul Anderson. Interment will follow at the Lund Cemetery in Gully.
     Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
     Victoria “Vickie” Lee Wishard was born on December 4, 1957 to Vera Takenalive in Little Eagle, S.D. She was adopted on June 15, 1958 by Bud and Irene Wishard.  She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Timber Lake, S.D. She grew up on the Wishard ranch 11 miles southwest of Little Eagle on Little Oak Creek. She attended First grade at the country chapel school. Her second grade was at McLaughlin, S.D. school.  She then moved with her family to Trail in 1968, where she went to school in Oklee.
     On October 30, 1976, Vickie married Timothy Myers. They lived near Gully. To this union three children were born. Vickie loved her sons very much, as they were the light of her life. She was a loving and kind-hearted person.  She enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. As a young girl, she enjoyed riding her horse across the hills on the ranch.
     Vickie is survived by two sons:  Sherlin and Nolan Myers; four grandsons; her parents, Bud and Irene Wishard of Trail; one brother, El-Rio Wishard of Trail; foster brother, Bruce (Julie) Oehlke of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews. 
    Vickie was preceded in death by one infant son Aaron Arthur. She will lay to rest beside him in the Lund Cemetery of Gully.
