\"   Pine River – Levin H. Anderson, 96, of Pine River, died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Center in Pine River.
  Funeral services were held on Monday, February 18 at Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg, with Pastor Joel Baranko officiating. Interment followed at the Swanburg Cemetery.
    He was born November 2, 1911 in Holt, to Carl L. and Anna Anderson.  
    He grew up in the Holt area.  Levin married Dorothy Johnson on June 27, 1934.  He worked for the Seldon-Watts Seed Company in St. Paul for 39 years.  He loved playing Bingo, Poker, Cribbage, and enjoyed fishing.
    He is survived by his sons,  Glen Anderson (Linda) of St. Paul, Lyle Anderson (Lynda) of Texas; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; daughter, JoAnn Shetka; one grandson; brothers,  Carl O. Anderson, Ragnar E. Anderson, Edwin J. Anderson;  and sisters,  Carrie E. Lunke and Gladys E. Gillespie.
