The Thief River Falls School Board has voted to select Dr. Chris Mills, superintendent in Stephen/Argyle as the district’s new superintendent. The decision came on Tuesday afternoon following interviews with two finalists.
“We believe Dr. Mills has the qualifications and skills to move the school district forward. We look forward to working with him in his new capacity,” said Ryan Walseth, chairman of the Board of Education.
The Board of Education will be conducting contract negotiations with Mills, and a contract is expected to be approved by the Board of Education at an upcoming school board meeting. The pending start date for Mills would be July 1, 2023.
