Participants in the 50th Annual Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Tour, which was hosted by the Northwest Minnesota Stockmens Association and held in Thief River Falls this year, examine the free stalls and automatic feeding system at Good-Vue Ayr Farms, which is owned and operated by Mike and Linda Hanson, with sons Steven and Matthew, near Goodridge.

The 50th Annual Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Tour was held in Thief River Falls on June 25. The Ralph Engelstad Arena was headquarters for the more than 400 visitors and area residents participating in the event. The annual event, which was hosted by the Northwest Minnesota Stockmens Association, is designed to provide cattlemen a day of learning, networking and fun. The Minnesota State Cattlemen’s Association is a membership-based organization representing cattle producers and individuals who are part of the Minnesota beef community. MSCA is primarily focused on addressing local, state and federal issues impacting the long-term viability of cattlemen in the state.
