The Franklin Middle School Choirs will present their spring concert, “We Are the Lights,” on Monday, April 13 at 7 p.m. in the Lincoln High School auditorium. The evening features the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade choirs, as well as the Sunrise Singers, the sixth through eighth grade Mass Choir, and student soloists. Selections from the evening feature themes of hope, dreaming, and unity in song, as well as some familiar songs audience members are sure to recognize. The concert also serves as a celebration of growth, highlighting the progress and musical development of the middle school choral program.

Under the direction of Dane Froiland, students have been preparing this program with a focus on expression, confidence, and continued growth as musicians.

“These singers have been hard at work since their last concert in December. They continue to grow each day as young musicians. Their music has been challenging yet enjoyable for the performers and for all who hear it.” said Froiland.

Doors to the public will open at 6:15 p.m. Admission is $5 with tickets only being sold at the door. Ticket staff will not be able to hold tickets at the door.
