Thief River Falls – Francis “Frank” Womack, age 91, formerly of Thief River Falls, died Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at the Karlstad Memorial Healthcare Center in Karlstad.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Interment will be held on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Fort Snelling, Minneapolis.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

Thief River Falls – Beverly Joan Nelson, 83, of New Hope, died peacefully on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at North Ridge Care Center, New Hope, surrounded by her family.
Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 26, with Rev. John Golv officiating. Interment will be held at  Greenwood Cemetery in Strathcona.

Thief River Falls – Porter Vaughn, 66, Thief River Falls, passed away at his home in Thief River Falls, under the care of hospice on Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, with his family by his side.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 25, at 11 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Rev. Frank Ehling Officiating. 
Military honors were provided by the Minnesota National Guard Honor Guard, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2793, and the American Legion Ecklund – Holmstrom Post 117.

Red Lake Falls – Maurice LaCoursiere 90, of Red Lake Falls, died Monday, Sept. 22, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls.
Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, with Father Bill DeCrans officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Viking – Barbara A. Olsen, 61, Viking, died on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls.
The service to celebrate the life of Barbara Olsen was held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with Father Rick Lambert presiding.
