  Thief River Falls – Keith Erickson, 58, died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, N.D.
  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with visitation one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be held at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Brooks.
    Keith Matthew Erickson was born Nov. 18, 1957 in Thief River Falls, the son of the late Stanley and Agnes (Efteland) Erickson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and attended school in Thief River Falls.
    Keith worked various jobs in Thief River Falls and for the past 26 years, he worked at Arctic Cat.  
    On April 17, 1976, Keith was united in marriage to Linda Brown at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. The couple lived in Thief River Falls their whole life.  
    Keith was a kind, gentle man who was fondly known as “Doogles.” He enjoyed visiting with his many family and friends, driving around and watching the wildlife, going to the lake in the summer, and hunting deer with his buddies.  
    Survivors include his brothers, Jim Erickson and Dennis (Phyllis) Erickson; sisters-in-law, Diane Erickson; nieces and nephews, Brad Erickson, Al Erickson, Kim (Frank) Zsebehazy, Rhonda (Jim) Brown and Paula (Bruce) Baumgartner; father-in-law, Don Brown; sister-in-law, Pam (Neil) Konickson; the extended members of the Erickson and Brown families; and all of Keith’s friends.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda on April 1, 2014; parents; brother, Wayne Erickson; and mother-in-law, Lenore “Lee” Brown.
