Busy schedule produces wins

A 37-23 halftime lead propelled Thief River Falls past host Grand Forks Central 57-41 in Monday boys high school basketball.
It was the third win in four days for the Prowlers, who were coming off a weekend home court sweep of Grand Rapids and Cloquet.
With 14 points, Payton Graham Thief River Falls’ only double figure scorer. However, ten Prowlers put their names in the scoring column, with Blake Boen netting nine and Cole Johnson, Brady Hoffard and Matt Pearce finishing with eight each.
Central was led by Aaron Knutson with a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double.
The Prowlers have won five of their last six starts to push their record to 10-5 heading into a Tuesday home game against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton that continued a hectic mid-season schedule.
Central fell to 0-7.
