Hibbing – Sharon Audrey Grobove, 73, Hibbing passed away Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.  
Funeral services for Sharon will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 27 at the Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing.  Visitation will be from 11:30am until the 1:00pm service at the funeral home on Wednesday.  Interment will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery of Hibbing. 
She was born on March 19, 1942 to Elner and Matilda “Tillie” (Kotrba) Eliason in Goodridge. Sharon had been a resident of the Hibbing area since 1960, coming from Goodridge. She was employed as a beautician and as well as a supervisor for Hibbing Electronics where she retired from.  
She was a member of the Keewatin American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 452.  Sharon was noted for stock car racing. She raced in a women’s circuit in Hawaii when her husband was stationed there and was quite competitive. She also enjoyed ceramics while living in Tennessee, gardening, planting flowers, and restoring old cars.  Sharon also enjoyed doing people’s hair.
She is survived by her husband, Adam A. Grobove Jr., Hibbing, Adam A. (Connie) Grobove III, Forest Lake, Marvin E. (Leah) Grobove, Woodbury,  Charles A. (Jodi) Grobove, Hibbing, Teresa S. (Bill) Storlie, Eveleth, and Shaunte R. (Donnie) Richards, Hastings; brother, Harvey Eliason, Ohio, and Shirley Hovet, Hibbing; 11 grandchildren, Tony Grobove, Liam Grobove, Brady Williams, Abby Grobove, Cindy Grobove, Angie Grobove, Christopher J. Grobove, Sharia Chase, and Desiree Hendrickson; five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Christopher G. Grobove, parents, Elner and Tillie Eliason; siblings, Richard Eliason, Carrol Eliason, and Arlene Dahle; four brothers-in-law, Gene LaChapple, Del Nelson, Louie Dresich and Gordy Hovet; sister-in-law, Elaine LaChapple, and her nephew, Bruce Dahle.
Arrangements are with the Dougherty funeral Home of Hibbing.
