Mountlake Terrace, Wash. – On April 9, 1927 Andrew M. and M. Tina (Mikkelson) Tweten welcomed their daughter, Isabella F. (Izzy) Tweten into this world. She passed away peacefully in her home on March 1, 2016.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Kenneth R. (Kenny) Favrow. They were married on Sept. 15, 1947 and spent 68.5 years making their life in Port Gamble and Mountlake Terrace, Wash.
Isabella leaves behind her daughters and their husbands, Kathy (Dan) Lundberg and Kandyce (Stan) Turk. She is also survived by her eldest brother, Arthur Tweten of Minn., sisters, Ann (NV.) and Sharon (WA.), six adult grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, sisters-in-laws, and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, and brothers; Ludvig, Conrad, Theodore, Charles and Jerome Tweten and her half-brother Lockhart Latta.
Izzy was a farm girl first, taking care of the farm and all her younger brothers and sisters was her life until she married and everyone moved to Washington state.
She was truly an extraordinary woman, with gifts of helping others, stretching a dollar to feed many, and still finding time for her many interests. She loved to keep a tidy home, bake, cook, sew, crocheting, rock-hounding, antiquing, fishing, hiking, and finally genealogy. Her hands were never idle, she was indeed a Proverbs 31 woman.
Your family and friends miss you deeply, you have left a large hole in our hearts that only time will fill with the memories of you.
