Times Home Show set for next weekend

    Get ready to start making your spring, summer and fall plans. The 24th Annual Thief River Falls Times Home Sport and Family Show will be held Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event will held at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls. Both east and west entrances will be open.
    Inside this week’s edition of the Northern Watch will be over 150 vendors from throughout the region. A list of those vendors and their locations in the arena can be found inside this edition of the Northern Watch.
    The cost is $3 for adults 16 and older, $2 for children ages 6 to 15 and free for children under 6. The cost is $10 for families. Two-for-one admission will be offered from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
    This event also includes presentations by experts on a variety of activities. Presenters throughout the weekend include:

    •    Gun Safety in the Home – 1:30 p.m., presented by Bill Barthold, Pennington County Sportsmen’s Club
    •    Food Combining for Digestive Health & Weight Loss (at 2 p.m. Saturday) – Wendy Scramstad, Turning Point Nutrition
    •    doTERRA Introduction to Essential Oils (at 3 p.m. Saturday) – Sara Aarhus
    •    doTERRA Essential Oils Spa & Skin Care Event (at 4 p.m. Saturday) – Sara Aarhus
    •    Container Gardening (at 11:30 a.m. Sunday) – Kim Swanson, Pennington County Master Gardener
