Warren – Ira White, 98, of Warren and formerly of Radium, died on Saturday, September 24, 2005 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren.
  Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Radium, with Rev. Tom Zeller officiating. Interment will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Radium. Casket bearers include Derrick Lunski, Tim Holub, Darwin Lunski, Tom Holub, Dustin Lunski and Jeff Siewert. Honorary Bearers include all of His great-grandchildren.
 Ira was born on August 21, 1907 in Minot, N.D., the son of Roy and Alvira White.
 He was united in marriage to Luverna Peterson on September 7, 1932. They made their home on farms near Makoti, N.D., and Ryder, N.D. Due to the “Dust Bowl,” they moved to a farm near Radium on April 1, 1938. They raised wheat, oats and flax and also had cattle and other livestock. Ira retired from farming in 1975.
 After retiring, Ira and Luverna enjoyed traveling to California and Nevada to visit relatives almost every winter until recent years. In 1999, they moved to the Landmark Center in Warren.
 He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Radium and a long time member of the Comstock Town Board.
 Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Luverna and three children, Gene (Frances) White of Las Vegas, Nev., Sharon (Jim) Lunski of Grand Forks, N.D., and Shirley (Harold) Holub of Tabor, fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister, Della Feiring of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Earl, daughter, Madonna, granddaughter, Deborah and three sisters; Lillian, Rean and Vida.    A00003B2005SP28″
