Wadena, Iowa – Larry L. Seurer Jr., 38 passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 at Gunderson Hospital in LaCrosse, Wis. as a result of a motorcycle accident near Wadena, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp officiating. Casket bearers include  Mitchell Loe, Kyle Meyer and David Noyes. Honorary casket bearers include Brandon Seurer.   Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
Larry Lee Seurer Jr. “JR” was born Oct. 25, 1977 in Fort Lewis Army Base, Tacoma, Wash., son of Larry Lee and Beverly Kay (Gillihan) Seurer Sr. He was raised in Montana and Minnesota. Larry worked at Arctic in Thief River Falls for many years. Larry purchased a Truck and owned and operated Seurer trucking, he also owned and operated Itasca Truck Repair in Devils Lake, N.D. and most recently was employed at Thompson Truck and Trailer Decorah, Iowa.
He was married to Shauna Keeper and to this marriage one daughter was born Natasha.
Larry enjoyed being a free spirit, living life on the edge to its fullest. He loved Harley Motorcycles, fast cars boats and semi-trucks. He also enjoyed traveling, sky diving, white water rafting. Even though his life was short he packed in more than most in their lifetime and wasn’t afraid to try anything. When he worked he worked hard and when he played he played hard. 
Larry is survived by his daughter Natasha Seurer of St. Louis, Mo.; father Larry (Dianne) Seurer of Thief River Falls, mother Beverly (Harley) Gillihan of Helena, Mont.; siblings Jeannie Seurer of Helena, Mont., Brandi Decker of Kalispell, MT, Nikki Reese of Cleveland, Ohio, Brandon Seurer of Thief River Falls, Ryan Bowen of Helena, Mont., Crystal Bowen of Helena, Mont.; step-siblings Mitchell (Connie) Loe of Thief River Falls, Jessica (Shane) Myhre of Thief River Falls, Bret Colden of Red Lake Falls and Bart Colden of Fargo, N.D.; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Leonard Seurer and Arlene Buzzell.
