Thief River Falls – Marion Mostrom, Thief River Falls, 86, died Friday, Nov, 4, 2016 at Villa St. Vincent, Crookston, with her loving family at her side.
Funeral services were held Monday, November 7, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.  Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls, by her parents.
Marion Ora Paulson was born March 16, 1930 at Thief River Falls, the daughter of Roman Hans and Amelia Caroline (Reitz) Paulson.  She attended Washington Elementary, Thief River Falls and Minnesota School for the Deaf, Faribault. 
On June 3, 1951, Marion was united in marriage to Ernest Mostrom in Thief River Falls.  To this union two children were born, Ardis and Jon.  
Marion enjoyed doing crafts, shopping, ironing, sewing, working with flowers, mowing her grass, housekeeping, dancing, watching TV and movies, loved eating popcorn, going on trips with her son and daughter-in-law, visiting with her daughter and sister; and spending time with her cat, Kitty.
She is survived by children, Ardis Gebhardt, Crookston, and Jon (Alice) Mostrom, Hastings; grandchildren, Mike Mostrom and Zack Bye; sister, Mathilda “Tillie” Gebhardt; and brother, Allan Paulson; and many other relatives and friends.
Marion is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Roman and George Paulson.
