    McIntosh – Archie Schneider, 75, of McIntosh, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks.
    Archie was born on December 31, 1941 in Thief River Falls, to Joe and Helen Schneider. Archie was a 1960 Lincoln High School graduate and all-star hockey player for the Prowlers. He was married to Marcia Houfek from 1961 to 1978, and together they had one daughter and four sons.
    Archie was currently married to Judy Owen, and they were best friends in love since 1981.
    He worked as a licensed Journeyman Plumber in Rochester for several years before pursuing a long-time career in car sales.
    Archie is survived by his wife, Judy Schneider; sons, Scott (Cathy), Eric (Emily), Shawn (Megan), Chad (Lisa); daughters, Kim (Brian) Gerardy, Jill (Corey) Perryman; grandchildren Rory, Tyler, Dylan, Cole, Camden, Calleigh, Kyla, Hudson, Cassidy, Connor, Samantha, Amber (Kelcie), Zach (Haeli), Breanne (Chris), Dillon, and Tanner; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Dave (Veronica) Schneider; and one niece and four nephews.
    He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kristin; father, Joe Schneider; mother, Helen Forsberg; and brother, Les.
