Hoffard 3-hitter leads Prowlers to road win

The Thief River Falls baseball team improved to 3-2 on the season with a 4-2 come-from-behind win over Red Lake County on Friday, April 28 in Red Lake Falls.
Brady Hoffard battled through the first three innings before settling in to retire 12 of the last 13 batters he faced to pitch a complete game three-hitter.  Hoffard picked up the pitching victory striking out 10 while only allowing two runs.
After a scoreless first inning, the Prowlers got on the board in the second inning as Brady Hoffard scored on an RBI single from Brayden Johnson. 
The Rebels took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the third inning. The Prowlers answered with a single run in the fourth inning to tie the game 2-2, as Hoffard would score on an RBI single by Zach Myhrer.
The Prowlers took the lead for good in the fifth inning as Hoffard scored on Myhrer's second RBI single of the game and Brandon Bruggeman scored on another RBI single from Brayden Johnson.
