    Minot – Lee Vigstol, 78, Minot, died on Sunday, May 7, 2017 in a Minot hospital.
    Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lynch Immanuel Lutheran Church in rural Minot.Visitions willl be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 3 – 6 p.m. at Thomas Family Funeral Home in Minot. Interment will be held at Lunch Innamuel Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Minot.
    Lee Vigstol was born on August 10, 1938 in Lakota, ND. He was a hard-working man and devoted to his family. He worked for Portal Pipeline until 1973 and farmed until his retirement in 2007.
    Lee was an active member of Lynch Immanuel Lutheran Church and the 7th Cavalry.  He was a handy craftsman working with wood, creating various projects and restoring tractors and wagons. He especially enjoyed ice fishing with family and friends especially Butch Sanders.
    Lee is survived by his wife of 46 years, Clara Jeanne (Schimmelpfennig) Vigstol; children: Connie (Dave) Lowe, Karen (Todd) Vance, Todd (Jennifer) Vigstol and Lisa (Jim) Miest; grandchildren: Allison, Gregory and Stephanie Lowe, Donovan and Patricia Murphy, Sierra Vance, Dustin and Kelly Wu, McKenzie Vigstol; step-grandchildren: Zac and Mia Campana; granddogs: Sadie and Jasmine; brothers: Neil Vigstol, Eldon (Karen) Vigstol, Ray (Shirley) Vigstol, Dick (Val) Vigstol, Russ (Ruth) Vigstol, Dave (Sue) Vigstol, Dan (Jan) Vigstol and Steve (Denise) Vigstol; sisters: Anne Anderson and Maribeth (Scott) Miller; brothers-in-law: Larry (Ilene) Schimmelpfennig, Roger Backes, Roger (Dee) Dozark, James Kosse and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Lee is preceded in death by his parents: Effie and Nels Vigstol; father- and mother-in-law: Lawrence and Clarice Schimmelpfennig; daughter: Patricia Vigstol; sisters-in-law: Connie Backes, Darlene Dozark, Cynthia Kosse and Ronalle Vigstol and brother-in-law: Andy Anderson.
    Memorials are preferred to Trinity Hospice, Special Olympics or Make-A-Wish Foundation, ND.
