Thief River Falls – Patricia Kjellberg, Thief River Falls, age 78, died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Thief River Care Center, Thief River Falls.
    A private family service will be held.
    Patricia Pearl Kjellberg was born July 13, 1938 at Greenbush, the daughter of Oliver and Mabel (Rice) Kjellberg. She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed at the Lutheran Church, Goodridge. She attended and graduated from Goodridge High School, Goodridge.
    Patricia entered the United States Air Force in 1956 and served her country for 3 years.  She worked as a clerk/typist.
    In 1961, Patricia was united in marriage to Donald Nomeland and the couple divorced in 1980, but still shared family and friends.
    She worked for several years at Arctic Cat, Thief River Falls until the late 70’s.  Patricia also worked as a secretary at the Grygla School, Grygla, until the mid 60’s.
    Pat used to love to pick Blueberries, liked to read, watch “Dr. Oz” on TV. She liked to collect recipes and people loved her cooking.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her three girls.
    Survivors include three children: Tamera Jean Nomeland, Cindy Nomeland and Vicky Moman/Nomeland; four grandchildren: Terra Nomeland, Taylor Bunker, MacKenzie Moman and Devin Moman; two great-grandchildren: Chase Nomeland and Jason Johnson and 1 Great-great-grandson Connor Fayette; brothers: Dwight Kjellberg and Jim Kjellberg and sister: Olive Schroeder; sisters-in-law: Ardell Kjellberg and Janice Kjellberg along with many nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Mabel Kjellberg, brothers Jack Kjellberg and Gerry Kjellberg and a sister Janice Iverson.
