    Thief River Falls – Millicent Paulson, 89, of Thief River Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Sanford Hospital in Thief River Falls, with her loving family at her side.
    Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service on Friday, August 25, 2017. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
    Millicent F. Rondorf was born on March 1, 1928 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of William and Matilda (Hawkinson) Rondorf. She grew up on a farm in Rocksbury Township, Pennington County, and attended school in St. Hilaire.
    On July 16, 1950, Millie was united in marriage to Allan C. Paulson in Thief River Falls, MN.  To this union five children were born, Larry, Geraldine, Jerry, Linda and June.  The family lived for a time in Glenwood, MN and in the mid-1950s made their home in Thief River Falls, where they have continued to reside.
    Millie enjoyed going out for lunch and coffee with her friends and family, going for an evening drive, cooking, baking, fishing, playing cards, camping and vacationing with the family, and in her earlier years enjoyed square dancing with Allan.
    Millie worked at Arctic Cat for a short time and worked for the Thief River Falls School District for over 20 years as a cook. She was known by her students as the “Cool Cook.”
    Millie was thoughtful, kind hearted, always willing to help, and enjoyed visiting with family and friends.
    She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
    Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Allan of Thief River Falls; children, Larry (Marian) Paulson of Lancaster, Geraldine “Geri” (Wayne) Stavenes of Thief River Falls, Jerry (Michelle “Bucket”) Paulson of Detroit Lakes, June (Jon) Sundberg of Thief River Falls; grandchildren, Brandy (Kjell) Johnsrud, Kelly (Jose) Martinez, Sheena (Justin) Esparza, Bruce Carter, Summer Day (Brett) Brockman, Nicholas (Katie) Paulson; great-grandchildren, Bailey Johnsrud, Alexis Eubanks, Mason Perfecto, Arianna Esparza, Jaxon Esparza, Bree Brockman, Kenzie Brockman, Jace Brockman; great-great-grandchild, Angel Eubanks; along with many other relatives and friends.
    She is preceded in death by her daughter, Linda in 1960; great-grandson, Isaac Eubanks; and her parents.
