Three people died Saturday morning after their Cessna 182 plane crashed near the intersection of Center Avenue Northeast and 130th Street Northeast, southwest of Thief River Falls.
They have been identified as Moy Wing, 69; Brian Duke, 27; and Zach Ostertag, 26, according to the Pennington County Sheriff's Office. They are all from Rawlings, Wyo.
The sheriff's office learned of the crash at 7:50 a.m. Saturday. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified, and the plane crash remains under investigation.
A small Cessna plane crashed Saturday morning southwest of the city of Thief River Falls. Three people, all from out of state, died, according to Pennington County Sheriff Ray Kuznia. Authorities are in the process of notifying family members.
