    Wayzata –  Ross G. Nelson, 45, of Wayzata, passed away suddenly, but peacefully surrounded by his family on October 12, 2017.
    Private interment will be held at Rindal Cemetery, in Newfolden.  
    Ross graduated from The Blake School and Gustavus Adolphus College, and had a successful 22 year career as a senior project manager in commercial construction. Above all, he was a devoted husband and loving father and son.
    An exceptional golfer, hockey player, and all-around athlete, Ross was loved and respected by all. His infectious laughter, quick wit, and huge, loving heart will be missed by all.
    Survived by his loving wife, Lucy; children, Abby Nelson and Marina Healy; mother, Diane Nelson and Judd Broyer; brother, Robert Nelson and Sue Roos; sister, Debbie Haskins; mother-in-law, Diane Robinson; father-in-law, Tom Hunt; brothers-in-law, Lang Hunt and Kerry Hunt; Evan and Avia Slack, who were dear to his heart; god parents, Ray and Jeannie Nelson; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
    Ross was preceded in death by his father, Bob Nelson; grandparents, Signe and Russell Nelson, Lorraine and Ken Ballinger.
