    Waconia – Clarence W. ‘Bud’ Henke, 77, of Waconia, passed away Thursday October 19, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis from complications of heart failure, surrounded by his loved ones.
    Funeral services were held on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waconia. Interment was held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
    Clarence Warren Henke was born on August 6, 1940 in Fordville, ND. He attended school in Red Lake Falls, graduated from Northwest School of Agriculture in 1959. He served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. After serving overseas in Germany, he then returned home to farm with his family in Red Lake Falls.
    Clarence married Linda McPherson on June 6, 1970, and resided in Red Lake Falls until he retired from St. Hilaire Elevator in 1997. He was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, enjoyed gardening, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and their dog Ginger.
    Clarence is survived by his loving family: wife, Linda Henke, of Waconia; children: Doug (Katy) Henke of Woodbury, Steve (Jessica) Henke of Norwood Young America, SuLynn (Andre) Williams of Sartell, and Tanya (Khoi) Henke-Le of Edina; grandchildren: Jennifer and Paige Henke, Austin Fisher, Destiny and Josiah Henke, Jaron and Isaiah Williams, and Evan and Ella Le; sister, Marilyn (Hank) Wieland of Red Lake Falls; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
    Clarence was preceded in death by his parents Clarence H. and Della Henke; sister-in-law Marilyn Foust; brother-in-law Bill McPherson.
