“Don’t be sad because I, Ilene Lindholm, left for ‘Home’ on October 28, 2017.  I am with my dad, Leon McMahon, my mom, Alice (Coan) McMahon, my husband, Clifford Lindholm, brother, Hilton McMahon and many others. They were all waiting for me with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My walker, my wheelchair, and medication were checked at the pearly gates, no longer needed. While God created the Earth and said it was good, Heaven is so much more! My time on Earth was full and complete.”
Ilene (McMahon) Lindholm was born at home in Martin, ND on December 16, 1930. She attended country school west of Highlanding and Goodridge High School through the 10th grade.
Ilene Lindholm was married to Norman Fimrite and later married to Matt Kruchowski, and on September 1968 was united in marriage to Clifford Lindholm for 44 years before his passing on September 9, 2012. The couple lived in the Brooks area for 2 years before moving to Cloquet.
Ilene enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking and baking.  She was an active member of her church and always willing to share her faith. She was baptized in November of 1994 at the Cloquet Gospel Tabernacle.

After the passing of Cliff in 2012, Ilene moved in with her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and David. In December 2014, Ilene moved into an assisted living center in McIntosh, and in December 2015, she moved into the Riverview Care Center in Crookston because of her declining health and increase of dementia.
