Kmart property sold to 3Gen Properties LLC

The Kmart property has been sold for $1.4 million to 3Gen Properties LLC of Grand Rapids. The company owns L&M Fleet Supply.

The Thief River Falls Kmart property has been sold.
Pennington County Recorder Julie Hansen recorded the sale Thursday, Feb. 8. She said the property was sold to 3Gen Properties LLC for $1.4 million. A Grand Rapids address was provided for property tax purposes.
Online state documents list an address for 3Gen Properties, which corresponds with the corporate office of L&M Fleet Supply. Co-owner Shawn Matteson told The Times that he “could not comment at this point.”
L&M Fleet Supply sells sporting goods, lawn and garden supplies, clothing, home improvement supplies, pet supplies, farm supplies, automotive supplies, toys and footwear. It currently has nine stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin. The closest locations are in Bemidji and Detroit Lakes.
Kmart closed for the final time Jan. 28.
