Mary Cullen, chairman of the Thief River Falls Library Advisory Board, announced Thursday that the board recently voted to request research by the City Council into options available for the Thief River Falls Library.
Cullen said, “We want to make sure that all avenues are explored for the good of our beloved library and community. No one from the Thief River Falls Library Board, which includes representatives from the City and County, has ever suggested that the City or County plan to withhold money from the Thief River Falls Library or reduce services/ close the library. Anyone who is stating that on social media or elsewhere is misrepresenting the facts.”
Cullen encourages anyone who is interested in learning about the library to attend the City Council meeting on March 6, 2018 at 5:30 p.m.
