Laurimar was born on December 21, 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Victor Manual Sierra and Maria Laura Garcia. She married her best friend and love, Jared Goldesberry, on August 25, 2001.
Laurimar loved to love on people. She rarely sat still and was always on the move. Once she sat still, she was not going anywhere. While everyone is planning, Laurimar was living. She would light up any room she walked into. She always made the right call. She worked multiple jobs because she always wanted to contribute. She was absolutely amazing with children, especially small children. She taught them to think for themselves (don’t do something you don’t like for someone’s approval), honesty, determination, consideration and love.
Laurimar loved her friends and was loved by them. She was easy to have a conversation with and it felt like you had known her for many years.
Laurimar loved ballet and dance. When she lived in Thief River Falls she started a ballet studio and was later instrumental in bringing the Just for Kix program into Thief River Falls.
Laurimar is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jared Goldesberry and five children: Laura Hahn (Jordan), Raymond Rivera Sierra, Emanuel Rivera Sierra, Jadon James Goldesberry, and Levi Neil Goldesberry; and two grandchildren: Delamaria Joy Hahn and Daenerys Jordynn Hahn. She is also survived by her mother, Maria Laura Garcia and older brother, Victor Sierra Garcia.
In lieu of flowers and donations, a gofundme has been established under the Jared Goldesberry family.
