Beverly was a homemaker, babysitter, and piano teacher.
After raising her family, Beverly became a Marshall County assessor for 15 years, a custodian for the Argyle Migrants School and a home care assistant for the county for a season. She was an active member of the Newfolden Evangelical Free Church for many years, serving in various teaching, ministry, and treasury positions.
