Adeline L. Farmes, 95

Adeline L. Farmes, 95, of Andover, and formerly Bemidji, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The daughter of Anna and Iver Iverson, Adeline grew up on a farm outside of Thief River Falls. She trained to become an RN at Deaconess School of Nursing in Grand Forks, ND, and later received a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Minnesota. She spent many years as a nurse and later taught the LPN program in Thief River Falls.
Adeline shared a love of the outdoors with her husband Bob, and especially enjoyed birdwatching and gardening. She treasured her family and friends. Her faith sustained her, and she was active in her congregations at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, and First Lutheran, Bemidji. We will love and miss her forever.
Adeline was preceded in death by husband, Robert, and siblings, Clara Wagner and Harley Iverson.
Adeline is survived by son, Richard; daughter, Rochelle (Steven) Poore; grandson, David Poore; sisters, Edna Rondorf and Gail (Gary) Fitch; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
