Rose was born on September 16, 1945, San Jose, Costa Rica, Central America. Adopted 21 days later by Theodore and Corinne Sutton, Canal Zone, Panama, Central America.
At age 12, following the death of her father, Rose, her mother and two sisters moved to the United States.
