Duluth – Gail Erin Rindahl passed away on February 17, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth.
Gail was born June 29, 1946 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Orland and Esther (Brovold) Rindahl.
She was raised in rural Trail, baptized and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church,Trail  and attended school at Goodridge Public School where she graduated in 1964, earning a spot on the National Honor Society.
Gail went on to earn a degree at the Minnesota School of Business in court reporting.  She pursued her career as an official court reporter in Bowling Green, OH and then continued in Eau Claire, WI. She went on to  teach court reporting at the Vocational and Technical College in Hibbing, MN.
When that job ended, Gail moved to the cities and worked as a legal secretary for various attorneys. She then moved on to teach at the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in New Richmond.  She ended her career proofreading for independent freelance court reporters.
In  her free time, Gail loved to read, spend time with family and friends, enjoying dinners out and generally socializing.
Gail is survived by her brother, David (Darlene) Rindahl, sisters, Susan Olson, and Diane Rindahl, several nieces and nephews along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and one aunt, Audrey Severson, of Minneapolis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jack, sister-in-law, Mary Lou, brother-in-law, Milton Olson,  and nephews, Benji Rindahl, and a baby boy.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
She will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.   May her memory be blessed.
