Fargo, ND – Charles Harry “Chuck” Rustvold, age 98, passed away peacefully at Bethany on University on September 20, 2021.
  Chuck was born September 17, 1923 in Beltrami County to John and Mary Rustvold. He grew up on their farm near Grygla.
Chuck served in the Army during WWII in the European theater. He was wounded in Germany during the Battle of the Huertgen Forest.
Upon his discharge he lived in Detroit, MI where he went to Barber School. After his graduation, he moved to Fargo where he barbered until his retirement.
In 1946 he was united in marriage to his forever soulmate Marion Thompson. They had two children, Diane and Jeffrey.
Chuck enjoyed spending his years at his lake home near Detroit Lakes. He loved fishing, hunting, and gathering with family for any occasion. He was a man who loved to dance, smile, and chat for hours over a hot cup of coffee.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Marion; daughter, Diane; and sister, Irene.
He will be forever loved and missed by his faithful son, Jeff; granddaughters,  Melanie Beckman and Megan Zimmer; and his four precious great-grandchildren.
Family and friends of Chuck were invited to attend his memorial service at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 613 16th St. S, Fargo, ND, on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 2 p.m.
