Jeffrey William Lendobeja was born August 7, 1982, in Thief River Falls, the son of Loren and Elaine (Jones) Lendobeja. He was baptized in the Lutheran faith at Bethany Lutheran Church and confirmed at St. Pauli Lutheran Church. He graduated from Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls, in 2000.
Following graduation, Jeff traveled to Colorado, Georgia, and Florida, working at various companies and jobs. He returned to Thief River Falls and was employed by D&D Concessions where he traveled with them and met Chandra, who was also working there, at Rib Fest in Fargo, ND.
He moved to Fargo in 2008 to be closer to her, and on August 28, 2010, was united in marriage to Chandra Knopp at Kragnes. Jeff began working for Universal Carpet Service, and in 2017 he purchased the business and was currently owner/operator along with his crew.
Jeff was a man of many passions whose enjoyments included woodworking, playing Frisbee golf, listening to classic music, and of course his business. He loved time spent with his family, especially at the family lake cabin on Long Lake. He enjoyed the outdoors and traveling, but while in the vehicle, was always listening to NPR news! His favorite treats were coffee, chips and salsa, and chocolate. Jeff had several fedoras in his collection and was often seen proudly sporting another one. He was a family man and was happiest when he was at home with his wife and three children. He had a positive outlook on life. He prayed and read a devotional with his children daily. He was very kind and patient with everyone he met.
He leaves his wife, Chandra; three children, Hailey, Emma and Cole, all at home; his mother, Elaine Jones Lendobeja; and his father, Loren (Elna) Lendobeja; both of Thief River Falls; his mother-in-law, Deb (Randy Wicklander) Knopp of Annandale; his father-in-law, Duane F Knopp pf Fargo, ND; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Jeff is preceded in death by his grandparents, Julian and Barbara Lendobeja and William H. and Elnora Jones; and his sister, Laurie Beth Lendobeja in 2011.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the family for educational scholarships for the kids.
