Thief River Falls – Annette Timm, 64, of Thief River Falls, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Sanford Medical Center in Thief River Falls surrounded by her loving family.
Annette Joy Micka was born February 3, 1958 in Crookston, the youngest of seven daughters born to Robert and Irene (Gregerson) Micka. She was baptized into the Catholic faith. She attended school in Crookston, New York and Argyle.
Annette married Bill Goosen and to this union a son, Robert, was born in 1975. They divorced in 1976.
It was at this time that Annette worked at Country Kitchen and Al’s Pizza in Crookston.
On Friday the 13th of February 1976, Annette married the love of her life, Gustave John Timm in Dell Rapids, SD. To this union two children were born, Daniel and Sandra to join Robert, and John’s son, John.
The family made their home in Luverne, where Annette enjoyed raising her children and worked as a day care provider. In 1984 the family made their home in Thief River Falls where they have continued to reside.
After returning to Thief River Falls, Annette earned her GED and attended the AVTI, graduating with a degree in Business Management. After graduating she went to work seat sewing for Arctic Cat. In 2004 she went to work at Digi-Key as a packager where she worked until her medical disability in 2020.
She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, working with plastic canvas, being in the outdoors and camping with her family, going for walks with John, and playing bingo and she especially loved being with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a strong, amazing woman who fought fierce battles with medical problems to the end.
Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, John of Thief River Falls; children, John Timm of Red Lake Falls, Robert Goosen of Crookston, Dan (Nancy) Timm of Newfolden, and Sandy Conway of Thief River Falls; grandchildren, Tania (Matt Burke and his kids Sadie and Gunner) Timm, Devon McLendon, Miranda Timm, Terence (Malayna) Timm; great-grandchildren, Emma, Bentley, Jordyn, Nova, Lyncoln, Emmalynn; sisters, Diane (Steve) Kelley and Marlene Newman; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Janice, Linda (Fred), and Karen; John’s parents, Annabelle and Russell Olson; John’s siblings, Robert Timm, Ronald Timm and Ann Brosseau; many aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends and her beloved pet, Teri.
A gathering time for family and friends was held on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.
