Port Charlotte, FL – Mert (Muriel Joan) Molskness Craig passed away at her home in Port Charlotte, Florida on October 1, 2023.
She was born to Maynard and Madeline Molskenss on November 30, 1944 in Thief River Falls.
She is survived by her husband, Fred; and four stepchildren, Nick (Valerie) Craig, Krystal Craig, Stephanie (Jeff) Ruesch, and Sonya Sprague; her siblings, Les (Marge) Molskness, Peggy Mostad, Larry (Sharyn) Molskness, Tom (Barb) Molskness; several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren; as well as three stepfamily members, Forrest and Donnavon Anderson and Faye Dudas.
She was a 1962 graduate from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.
Mert earned an associates degree and worked as a paralegal for the majority of her career. During retirement, Mert enjoyed golfing and socializing with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Madeline Molskness.
Interment will be at the Gulf Pines Memorial Park in Englewood, FL.
As per Mert’s request there will be no services or memorials.
