Oklee – Cleta Anna Ralph of Oklee, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Thief River Care Center in Thief River Falls.
Cleta Anna Ralph was born September 5, 1936 in Red Rock, OK daughter of James Franklin and Mary Margaret (Warren) Ranes. She was raised in Oklahoma where she graduated from Billings High School, Class of 1954.
On May 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert Lee Ralph at Ceres Baptist Church in Red Rock, OK. The couple moved to Grafton, Iowa where daughters Debra and Jean and son Gary were born. The family moved to Rushford, where they farmed. In the fall of 1976, they moved to Oklee, where they farmed. Cleta worked at Third Base in Brooks for several years.
Cleta enjoyed painting, music and decorating cakes.
Cleta is survived by her daughters, Debra (Jeff) Lansdowne of Elgin, and Jean Healy of Red Lake Falls; daughter-in-law, Sherry Ralph of Thief River Falls; grandchildren, Blair (Alicia) Jameson, James (Jusoon) Lansdowne, Jessica Lansdowne, Allison Healy, Megan (Brennan Theisen) Healy, Joshua (Joni) Kappes, Sydney Ralph; great-grandchildren, Logan Jameson, Elizabeth Jameson, Noelle Lansdowne, McKenna Fradet, Jack Theisen, Jaden Kappes, Jude Kappes; brother, Tom (Dee) Ranes in Oklahoma; along with several nieces and nephews.
Cleta is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ralph; son, Gary Ralph; son-in-law, Alan Healy; siblings, Olive Hellar, James Ranes, Mildred Shearer, John Ranes, and Guy Ranes.
Memorial service for Cleta will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee, with Reverend Linda Molitor officiating. Burial will be held at Clearwater Cemetery, rural Oklee.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
