Trevis Rothschadl, 47

Roberts, WI – Trevis James Rothschadl, 47, of Roberts, Wisconsin, formerly of Thief River Falls, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 22, 2025.
Trevis was born on June 9, 1978, in Thief River Falls, the son of Rodney and Diane (Welle) Rothschadl. He was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith. Trevis attended school in Thief River Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School with the Class of 1996. He continued his education at Northland Community & Technical College in Thief River Falls, where he studied for two years.
Trevis was a proud father of two wonderful daughters, Kadyn and Tyah.
Trevis worked as a heavy equipment operator for several construction companies throughout his career, most recently for Aggregate Industries. He was a very hard worker, respected for his dedication and skill.
Trevis was always the energy in the room and the life of the party. He lived for a good time and brought joy, laughter, and a competitive edge wherever he went. He had a passion for anything with a motor, especially riding snowmobiles, where he raced cross country for 4 years. He loved spending time at the lake, relaxing by a campfire, and playing bean bags with family and friends. His adventurous spirit, warm heart, and infectious personality made him unforgettable.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Kadyn (Zach Undeberg) Rothschadl and his grandson, Hudson of Halma, and Tyah Rothschadl of Princeton; his parents, Rod and Diane Rothschadl of Thief River Falls; sisters, Rhonda (Paul) Lofberg and Lynae (Bruce) Holte, both of Thief River Falls; his nieces and nephews, Paige Lofberg, Devin Lofberg, Gabriel Holte, and Hope Holte; his great-niece and nephews, Aurora Lofberg, Bentley Lofberg, and Theodore Holte-Meyer; and many other relatives and friends.
Trevis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Marge Rothschadl and Harvey and Shirley Welle.
Trevis will be remembered with love, laughter, and deep affection. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held from 5–7 p.m., with a 6:30 p.m. prayer service, on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Father Craig Vasek will preside.
The interment will follow the luncheon at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Cemetery in Beaulieu, MN.
