Thief River Falls – Rosalie Wilson, of Thief River Falls, passed away with her loving son Dave by her side on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Villa St. Vincent in Crookston.
Rosalie Vivian Hruby was born December 18, 1920 in Mavie, the daughter of James V. and Anntonia N. (Burianek) Hruby. The family lived in Mavie until 1931, when they moved to Silverton Township, Pennington County.
In 1943, Rosalie was united in marriage to Warren Wilson and the couple made their home in Kratka Township. To this union two children were born, Dennis and David.
In her earlier years, Rosalie worked at the Oakland Park Sanitorium.
On January 3, 1983, Rosalie moved into Thief River Falls.
She enjoyed working in her garden, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her loving son, David (Karen) Wilson, Goodridge; grandchildren, Troy, Kim, Ashlee, Danielle, Jody, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; special friend, LeAnn Nelson; and her daughters, Jessica and Megan.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her son, Dennis in 2021; parents; brothers, James and Dick Hruby; sisters, Phyllis Jorgenson, Beverly Ahlman and Donna Mellin.
A private family service is being planned.
