Oslo – Douglas A. Anderson of Oslo, 81, entered eternal life peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2025, following a Thanksgiving meal at the Feltman farm in rural Warsaw, ND.
Douglas was born on St. Patrick’s Day in 1944, in Crookston, to Arthur and Ella (Engen) Anderson. He was raised in Thief River Falls, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1962.
He worked for Dahlstrom Motors in Oslo where he met his wife, Colleen Eide. They married on September 4, 1965, at Zion Lutheran Church in Oslo. To this union three children were born: Dawn Marie; and twins, Terry and Gerri.
In 1973, Doug went to work at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, as a vehicle inspector, until his retirement in 2009.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Colleen; and their three children: Dawn (Neal) Feltman, Terry (Kelly) Anderson, and Gerri (James Hawley) Anderson. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Duane and Gail Anderson.
Inurnment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Oslo in the Spring.
