Robert “Bob” Osse found peace on November 13, 2026 when he was reunited with his beloved wife, Marlene at the age of 81.
Bob grew up in Skime, Minnesota and graduated from Roseau High School. He worked for Arctic Cat in Minnesota and later he moved to Milwaukee and found employment at Bucyrus-Erie and later worked for Allen Bradley, retiring after 36 years. While he was in Milwaukee he met and married, Marlene Harless with who he was married for 48 years. Together they enjoyed spending time as a family volunteering and coaching many sports for Special Olympics where their daughter, Wendy was an athlete.
In his free time, he coached hockey for many years, including a tenure with the Marquette University Hockey team, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially with his son, Erik and other family and friends who would join them over the years.
Bob was the proud father of Wendy and Erik (Tracey) Osse, Kellie (Dave) Villalobos, the late Casey Day and Jeff Day. He was the best grandpa to Sydney and Aspyn, Kimberly and Tyler. Bob was the dear brother-in-law of Holly (Dave) Holty, Diane Harless and the late Tom Harless. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
