Warren Kron was born on September 12, 1936 to Walter and Hazel (Wood) Kron in Thief River Falls, the fourth of five siblings. Warren graduated from Thief River Falls High School in 1954 and then worked as a county surveyor. He married Janice Kalinoski on March 15, 1958 and they had three children: Wayne, Julie and Mitchell.
In 1962, the family moved to Quartz Hill, CA, where Warren was employed by Southern California Edison as a substation operator. He also helped run the café at the Lancaster Sales Auction Yard with his mother and family for many years.
Warren was the owner of The Britisher Cocktail Lounge in Lancaster, CA and will be remembered as the fun-loving proprietor. His Lancaster home has been the social hub for pool parties, late night poker games and the 405 Society Social Club, where his many friends showed up at 4:05 p.m. every Friday for laughs and good food.
Warren had an adventurous life, traveling and meeting friends all over the world. He accomplished many things on his bucket list including scuba diving, hang gliding, bungee jumping and zip lining.
Warren was preceded in death by his eldest son Wayne and sisters Marjorie, Marilyn and Elizabeth.
Warren is survived by his sister Marcia, ex-wife Janice, daughter Julie, son Mitchell and grandchildren Holiday, Cody, Ashley and Lillian.
In lieu of flowers it is suggested to organize a poker game in his honor to remember his jokes and the infectious laughter that always brought a smile to your face.
