Paulette Dupont passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her home near Red Lake Falls, MN surrounded by her loving family.

Memorial service will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Epiphany Station in Thief River Falls, MN with Pastor Matty Towse officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.

Paulette Jean Dupont was born October 8, 1949 at Fosston, MN daughter of Raymond Walter and Margaret Ione (Paulson) Curfman. She was baptized at Kingo Lutheran Church in Fosston, MN, November 18, 1949 and confirmed May 23, 1965. She was raised in McIntosh where she attended school graduating in 1968. Paulette moved to Minneapolis where she attended cosmetology school.

On January 9, 1971 she was united in marriage to Dean Dupont at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Terrebonne, MN. The couple lived in Plummer for one year until moving to their home North of Red Lake Falls, MN where they have since resided. To this union two daughters Cindy and Chrissy were born. She was a stay at home mom taking care of her family and also foster children for fifteen years. Paulette sewed for Lady Slipper Designs several years. She began working at Arctic Cat in Thief River Falls until her retirement.

She enjoyed sewing, camping, gardening, decorating, bowling and spending time with her grandkids.

Paulette is survived by her husband of 47 years Dean Allen Dupont of Red Lake Falls, MN, children Foster daughter Claire Schwehr of Dilworth, MN, Cindy Bergeron of Thief River Falls, MN and Chrissy (Juston) Anderson of Red Lake Falls, MN; grandchildren Ryan Barnes, Peyton and Tanner Schwehr, Josh and Alyssa Bergeron and Ava, Lucy and Walter Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond Curfman and Margaret Paulson, step-father Eddie Storrusten and her brother Roger Curfman, grandparents Selma and Louie Paulson and Alfred and Sophie Curfman.
