The Run RiverFest 5K will be held Thursday, Aug. 1 with the race starting and finishing at the Greenwood Trails parking lot.
Registration will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The 1K FunRun begins at 6:10 p.m., with the 5K Run/Walk following at 6:30 p.m. or immediately following 1K run. Cost is $25 for the 5K Run/Walk and $10 for the 1K FunRun. All raised funds will be donated to the Erika Kahlhamer family to help offset medical expenses from her cancer fight.
The first 100 5K participants will receive a long sleeve T-shirt. Additional shirt quantities will be limited, so register early! Online registration will remain open until midnight on July 31. All registered participants will automatically be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a kayak.
