Personal records were non-existent Thursday at the Northwest Conference Championship meet in Red Lake Falls. The meet was held at Oak Knolls Golf Club in Red Lakes Falls.

“Today was a beautiful fall day full of wind and lots of leaves,” said Head Coach Natasha Reierson. “It was by far the most challenging course we will ever run with twists and turns, up and down steep hills. Our runners did amazing with great attitudes and took on the hills like champs. Only one injury on one of the downhills.”

Five Prowlers earned all conference honors at Thursday’s meet. Elory Mossestad finished third and Livia Harbott finished fifth in the girls race to earn all-conference honors. Curtis Griffin finished second in the boys race, with Colin MacLean, 10th place, and Lincoln Davis, 12th, to round out the all-conference finishes.

“Last year, our team had three All-Conference place winners and this year we had five,” Reierson said. “Curtis, Colin, Lincoln, Elory and Livia. All the runners did great today….now onto the last regular season meet on Monday in Bemidji.

Also counting toward the Prowler boys third place finish were Eli Nelson and Wyatt Novak, finishing 32nd and 37th, respectively.

Also scoring for the girls team were Kayla Peterson, 19th, Ruby Geiser, 30th, and Sophia Eidsmoe, 47th.

Riverside Christian won both team championships. East Grand Forks finished second in the boys team standings, with Warroad taking second in the girls standings.
